Beverly Pop Warner "C" Team Player Story |
|
BEVERLY MOVES UP THE CHAIN IN THE PLAYOFFS On Sunday the 6th of November, the Beverly "C" team won a thriller in Chelsea against the tough Devil team. Beverly was ready to play, and they didn’t spend a long time before showing it. J.P., a.k.a. T.D. Kehoe, ran 40 plus yards on only the second play of the game for 6 and the extra point was made putting the score to 7-0, Beverly in command. The defense also was pumped and they showed it as well shutting down the Devil offense with hard-hitting, nice tackling, and overall wouldn’t allow anything against them. The orange O was ready to play and showed that once again by pounding the ball. The offense worked hard and kept the chains moving but later losing control in this now raining and 30-degree weather. Back came on the defense and once again shut up Chelsea with hard hits coming from Dylan Kline, Andrew Frates, Jason Fullerton, J Michael Nardella and J.P. Kehoe. The defense was doing their part and once again came on the orange O and this time didn’t disappoint. Nardella went around the end with a nice block by Pat Bailey and that sent him along the sidelines for 20 yards and another 6. And that would end the half. Dylan Kline and the kickoff team came out and Dylan let is leg do the rest with a beautiful kick locking up the Devils within the 20-yard line. The defense once again played tough but was starting to let up as the Devils worked the ball decently. The defense however did not let up and stuck the Chelsea team hard without any serious damage done. The white O now came out however could not make the ball and Chelsea once again took over on downs. Chelsea was really starting to work at all their might and on a dive broke about 4-yards for a touchdown that put the Devils on the board. Beverly however was not disappointed and came back on offense and pounded the ball hard and worked the chains. Nardella reached the end zone once again with a dive up the middle and put the finishing nail in the coffin. The game ended on a nice hit by Dylan Kline to end the game on a high note with a loss of about 4 for the devils. NICE GAME GUYZ !!!!!!!! LETS GET READY FOR BURLINGTON |
