Beverly Pop Warner "C" Team       Player Story

Team Effort Win Over Triton                                                                                                                                                                                                                On Beverly's first possession Jared Kusiak and Matt McNiff pulled through with a great touchdown run and extra point!!! Dylan Kline with Blue "D" and Black "D" came up big to shut down Triton's beginning drives of the game. JP Kehoe receives a kick from Triton and runs for a huge touchdown return!!! Thanks to a leveling hit form J Michael Nardella!! The Triton player went down hard but was ok. Beverly leads 13-0.         Triton tried to get back in the game but the hard nose "D" by Jason Fullerton, Andrew Frates, Dylan Kline and J Michael and the rest of the line wouldn't let them!         In the second quarter Jared went down hard on a big stop play. He had to leave the game to go for X-rays at the hospital. Turns out he broke his arm. This is a huge loss for the C team!         Fumble recoveries by J Michael and Jeff Jones(Triple J)  helped keep the ball out of Tritons offense. Big runs by Patrick Bailey and Steve Hutchinson let the orange "O" do their stuff.         The third quarter opens with more great football. With tackles, gains, loses and penalties to really keep things interesting. It was almost the same play as the touchdown in the second quarter. JP Kehoe received the kick, returns the ball for a touchdown again!!! But JP wouldn't of gotten the touchdown if  not for J Michael's leveling hit!! With the big extra point, bobbling catch from Dylan Kline. The score is now Beverly 20 Triton 0! It ending up with Beverly C getting another BIG WIN!         Beverly "C" team has a great team that works together. Special teams came up BIG for us Sunday! The steady effort of every player gave us the win. Beverly's record is 5-1!!!!             Bring on East Lynn!!!!          By Billy Sullivan
